The Marquis de Sade and 18th century psychedelia

For my final in my Computer Applications in Apparel, Textile, and Design course I was inspired by three of my favorite things: the Marquis de Sade, 18th century striped prints, and late 1960's psychedelia. the first print, inspired by marijuana highs and euphoria, is a brightly colored print of 18th century stripes and a swirling of Marquis de Sade bust portraits in multiple colors. The second print, like the first, is set on a striped background, with an orgy scene from the Marquis de Sade's notoriously debauched and horrific novel "120 Day of Sodom". The final print, a plaid of 1970's dowdiness and a plain smattering of the 120 Days orgy scene.
